Fifteen proposals to establish international trade controls for plants will be considered that involve Argentine lignum vitae, Brazilian rosewood, and 13 species from Madagascar.

Downlisting/delisting proposals will be considered for the bobcat, Morelet's Crocodile, Nile crocodile, cliff spurge, marsh rose, and swartland sugarbush.

Some of the most controversial proposals involve establishing trade controls for marine species include pink and red coral, and eight shark species.
